Michel Schneider. committed to success. Since 1869.

When Michel Schneider was established almost 150 years ago, we committed ourselves to achieving the highest possible quality standards; something we’ve continued to develop over the years.

Today, tradition and innovation both play an important role in the production of our wines; we mature many of our reds in traditional wooden barriques where they develop subtle aromas of roasted almonds and vanilla, whilst using modern methods such as cold fermentation we are able to develop the delicate flavours and aromas of the wines slowly and gently.

We source our grapes from the Pfalz region, one of Germany’s largest wine growing areas, where we’ve found the perfect climate and soil conditions to grow typical German grape varieties including Riesling, Dornfelder, Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder), Pinot Grigio (Grauburgunder) and Pinot Blanc (Weißburgunder).

As a tasty alternative for those who love wine aromas, but do not want to drink alcohol, we now offer a de-alcoholised red and and a de-alcoholised white wine.
